Papa Ware
Library Reading and School Visits

At schools I will encourage children to think about:
Where ideas for stories come from
How to turn anything into a story
What makes a story scary, funny or unique
Why solving problems is a good skill
All drafts are messy, and everyone rewrites to make them better
I leave time for questions and enjoy hearing what the children think
At libraries I will give an animated reading of Rock - the Rainbow Unicorn, sometimes accompanied by my 7-yr old granddaughter who turns pages for me. At the end, depending on the age of the children, I will talk about the story and how it was developed and written.
